The
African American Mosaic and
African American Odyssey are websites that
include photographs and historic documents that tell of events like the colonialization of Liberia
by free Blacks in the early 1800s and the founding of places like Nicodemus, Kan., one of the
towns established by Blacks after the Civil War.
THE ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA GUIDE TO BLACK HISTORY
includes audio clips of Gwendolyn Brooks and Malcolm X. Links to other sites including the Amistad
Research Center and the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for Afro-American Research at Harvard.
African American History and
Studies is a website where you will find a collection of hyperlinks related to African
American history, archives and research centers, contemporary issues and professional
associations.
I'm proud of my college alma mater (UC Riverside) for hosting an outstanding collection of
hyperlinks to resources which uncover the mysteries of our
African American history.
